Local Runner is a lifestyle running brand born in New York City, created by three women who met while training for their first marathon.
We didn’t start with grand plans or perfect form. One wanted to prove she could do it, one was trying to be more active, and one just needed to get out of her comfort zone.
From midtown meetups to marathon finish lines, from skipped runs to shared wins, we kept showing up. We talked about everything: tight calves, PT visits, shoe rotations, what makes a water fountain actually good.
Over time, those miles and messages turned into Local Runner — a brand inspired by the quiet recognition between people who run.

What is your return policy?
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible, your item must be:
- In the same condition you received it
- Unworn or unused
- With tags
- In its original packaging
- Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase

Please note: Items sent back without requesting a return first will not be accepted.
What if my item is damaged or incorrect?
Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at support@localrunner.co so we can make it right.
Can I exchange an item?
The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have. Once your return is accepted, you can make a separate purchase for the new item.
When will I receive my refund?
Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll notify you about the approval status.
- If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days.
- It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to post the refund.
If it’s been more than 15 business days since your return was approved and you haven’t received your refund, please contact us at support@localrunner.co.
Do you ship outside of the United States?
At this time, we only offer shipping within the U.S. We’re exploring options to expand internationally soon. Thank you for your understanding and patience!
Can I run in your caps?
Our caps are made from 100% cotton and designed for everyday wear. While they aren’t made from moisture-wicking materials, you can absolutely run in them if you’d like. It really comes down to personal comfort and style.
