Local Runner is a lifestyle running brand born in New York City, created by three AAPI women who met while training for their first marathon.

We didn’t start with grand plans or perfect form. One wanted to prove she could do it, one was trying to be more active, and one just needed to get out of her comfort zone. From midtown meetups to marathon finish lines, from skipped runs to shared wins, we kept showing up. We talked about everything: tight calves, PT visits, shoe rotations, what makes a water fountain actually good.

Over time, those miles and messages turned into Local Runner — a brand inspired by the quiet recognition between people who run. 

Local Runner is a feeling. Style without the ego. Function with a nod. Our designs are minimalist and with just the right amount of inside jokes. You’ll know it when you see it, because you’ve been there too.
